Inns of Court & City Yeomanry Trust
The non-public funds and assets of the Inns of Court & City Yeomanry are invested, maintained, administered and (as appropriate) cash disbursed, by the IC&CY Trust, a newly created (in 2020) Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO), the modern term for a charity registered with the Charity Commission. Its CC registration number is 1190829. In general terms their remit is to support the serving Signal Squadron, the Band, their predecessor units and their members and families, the Museum, the Messes, and to look after all the non-public possessions (e.g. silver, pictures, furniture and chattels) of each of these entities. The new CIO has assumed responsibility for the Benevolent Fund and the Museum, whose individual charities have now been de-registered. In this endeavour, they work alongside the IC&CY Association, and of course the Officer Commanding 68 (IC&CY) Signal Squadron, and the Director of Music of the Band. The Trustees meet at 10 Stone Buildings each March and October, and the date of their next meeting is at this Calendar of Events. All members of the Association are welcome to attend these meetings as observers. |
